An EAARS integrated vehicle will be fitted with a fully equipped early warning detection system that includes: recognition software, detection device, and audio/visual warning devices.  In the automotive application the driver’s audio system would be turned down followed by an audio warning stating that an emergency vehicle is approaching.  In addition, directional warning lights will provide an early warning to the driver and assists the driver in avoiding the emergency vehicle.
